VitaMedica's Bromelain with Quercetin is a natural medicine that helps support the body's healing process. Bromelain inhibits compounds called prostaglandins that cause inflammation, and promotes the formation of anti-inflammatory prostaglandins. Quercetin inhibits the release of inflammatory mediators including histamine. Combined, these nutrients enhance the effects of each other and demonstrate significant anti-inflammatory activity. Certain medications can provide some relief, but they often suppress symptoms and may cause unwanted side effects. Bromelain with Quercetin is milder, safer and far less likely to cause negative reactions than prescription medicines.

INDICATIONS
The Healing Supplements Program is a nutritional supplement system designed for patients undergoing less extensive surgical procedures and for some non-surgical procedures. These procedures include blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), forehead lift, breast augmentation, chemical peels and fat injections.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Bromelain, Quercetin and Arnica Montana have an excellent safety track record. However, certain individuals should seek the advice of their doctor before beginning any nutritional supplement program, particularly diabetics and pregnant or lactating women. The Healing Supplements Program contains BROMELAIN WITH QUERCETIN. This product is contraindicated in patients with a history of abnormal heart rhythms (arrhythmias); patients taking blood thinners like coumadin; or those with allergies to pineapple.
